BANANA CAKE
INGREDIENTS: 185 g of flour 40 g of butter/(or) 50 ml of olive oil 250 g to 300 g of sugar 3 to 5 bananas mashed(3 if the bananas are large and 5 if the bananas are small as shown) 1 large egg 1/3rd cup of milk 1 tsp of baking soda 1 tsp of baking powder 1 tsp vanilla flavour PREPARATION: 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius. 2.Cream butter (or oil) ,sugar and egg til it is fluffy;then add the mashed banana.. 3. Add flour,vanilla and mix well(make sure that no lumps are formed). 4.Dissolve baking soda,baking powder in the milk. 5.Add the milk to the batter and mix well. 6.Pour it into a greased cake tin and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes(the cake is done when a tooth pick or knife inserted at the centre comes out clean .
